This project was in collaboration with Darcy Street Project, a social-enterprise providing employment to disadvantaged communities through barista training. This temporary small cafe fit-out meant we had to be adaptable and flexible with the use of the space through the joinery design – we incorporated a stage, gallery wall and movable coffee training table. We aimed for 80% of the new fixtures to be removable or transportable to be re-used in future locations.
