The first (but definitely not the last) lighting design collaboration with Carl Broesen and Second Edition for Flyover Fritterie Redfern. We went from deciding to work with Second Edition’s salvaged aluminium profiles to sketching up a modular design which Carl Broesen brought to life with his incredible fabrication ingenuity!

The design intention was to get resourceful with our lighting budget and create a spatial lighting feature that defined a floating, meandering ceiling reminiscent of being under the flyovers in India that our client’s brand references.
